Acceptance in life can be so difficult! Let’s discuss.



Accepting certain events or situations that you have experienced in your life can be exceptionally difficult and painful to manage and deal within your everyday life. This could affect you in more ways than you are really conscious of and can sometimes just get on top of you in your worst possible moments. So let’s just discuss this in a bit more detail.



Tupac Shakur

One of the greatest artists to ever live, Tupac Shakur, who has many iconic quotes once said. “It seems like every time you come up something happens to bring you back down” I feel that this quote really does speak to me and I’m sure it does to many of you as well, as this needless to say is something that we have all experienced on many occasions throughout our lives. One moment you can feel on top of the world and before you know it, you have sunk so low.

I was actually discussing this with my therapist the other day that when this happens or many other events occur it’s very easy to be stuck in such a mindset such as "why does this happen to me" or "why does life have to be this way?". It really is so easy to act this way, to be truthful I’ve been there many, many times, even recently. It’s always important to remember that getting out of this mindset is absolutely essential, as tough as it is I know, to do so as quickly as possible. I know this is easier said than done but as I always say you cannot suffer in silence and always need to reach out to the right people who you know you can trust whether that’s a friend or family member or a professional. Whatever you feel is necessary. My page is always open for anyone who wants to talk about how they are feeling too. It is natural to feel this pain and suffering when going through difficult times, we are the most intelligent species on this planet, regardless no matter what we will all feel these emotions.

Sadly, life will sometimes throw things your way that you are really not prepared for and to me, I always feel like the sort of things come in twos or threes and sometimes more. I feel like it’s never just one thing to occur at all just kind of happens together in a short period of time which can make it more of a struggle especially when it is out of your control.


The piece to the puzzle

Accepting that life can be absolutely shit at times is a tough pill to swallow. But giving yourself the time and positive energy within you (And I know sometimes you do not think you have it in you, please believe me, you have it in you somewhere and you will find it.) to understand as best as you what you are going through will take time but just remember that this will not be forever. I am the type of person that would feel this way when in a really bad frame of mind but telling you all that it will get better even helps me too, because deep down I know it will get better.


Looking after yourself is always priority number one! Don’t ever feel that you’re alone in these types of situations, As every single one of us experiences this. Reach out and talk about your feelings, It’s just about trusting the process and believing in yourself that whatever you have to overcome or deal with you will get there slowly but surely and I really do hope that whatever you’re going through right now that the pain will ease for you. Remember that acceptance can help you find peace in your soul, Like a piece of a puzzle.


It will get better and looking back you will be so proud that you have made it. Sending my love and positive energy to all of you. Stay strong and healthy. You have all got this!
