Do you believe in yourself?

How are you all doing? I hope you had had a positive week so far! Today I wanted to talk about belief in your own self, Do you honesty believe in yourself? This can be a question that many of us avoid for a lot of different reasons, but usually deep down for whatever reason it is that we sadly do not believe in ourselves in certain aspects of our lives, I can completely relate to this as this as this can change very often for me, sometimes I can feel like I can accomplish anything I put my mind to and work on a better me. But, other times I can feel the complete opposite which has such a negative view on life. So I want to talk to you all about things I do that have helped when it comes to believing in yourself, I want you all to feel great about you and to feel like you can do anything you put your mind to, whatever the situation, it could be looking to change jobs, building up your confidence and self-esteem about yourself, getting over a breakup, like I said, absolutely any situation you are dealing with. So, Let's get started!
Write positive notes to yourself!

This is a really good to do for yourself! Write positive messages that you can look at to start your day off right or just for whenever you want to! This could be in the form of writing on your phone notes, in a note pad or the best one I would personally say would be to write as many possible messages on various post it notes for you to look at as soon as you get up. Putting positive messages in your mind starting your day will always do you so much good! The picture above is a few examples of what you could write for yourself but of course write anything that you think will help for you!
Tell yourself in the mirror!

Some of you may thing this is an odd one but honestly it has really done me the world of good over the past year since I have been doing this. Just something simple like "You have got this, today will be a good day, believe in yourself, you deserve to be happy" this is one that I use every now and again when I feel like I really need it. Talking to yourself in the mirror is more common that you think! Some scientists say that we are actually better off doing so! If you have never tried this, definitely give it a go! It might feel weird at first but just see it as a pep talk but rather than to others it is just for you.
Remember things you have achieved in the past!

This is such an important one that so many people forget about doing! Remembering success you have had for yourself in the past! This could be literally anything that comes to your mind. A job you successfully secured that you was so happy about getting, getting over a low point in your life, anything that you can think of that makes you feel good about you. (Getting out of a very dark place last year is definitely one of my biggest achieves that I never forget about.) I know for a fact there are so many things you can all think of that you have done! Write these down too just like "Write positive notes to yourself" Always remind yourself of the success you have had in the past and there is nothing stopping you from finding success again, it is all in your hands. You can all do this, I have faith in you all!
Set goals for yourself!

Setting goals for yourself is an amazing way to help you on the steps into believing in yourself more. Making a plan of doing this will help you in more ways that one, which is great because it could be about anything. I know most people when they think about setting goals and targets for themselves, your job automatically pops into your head, as much as that is a good one to look at, there are so many more ideas you can look at to make your belief in yourself much better! It could be to do more exercise everyday, spend more time with loved ones that you normally do, literally whatever will make you happy. For me in recent times, blogging was one of mine and I set a goal for this and now it is a reality for me! Set some goals and go for it!
Read Motivational quotes

As I have said before, I love reading quotes, especially motivational ones! As most of you know I post a quote of the day on my blog and my Instagram! This can really help put you in a positive mindset into believing in yourself more. Try do this everyday if you can, just give yourself even 5 minutes a day to just go online and have a look at a few motivational quotes, I literally do this everyday without fail! Spare some time for this for yourself, I would really recommend everyone to do so!
Never be hard on yourself, keep moving forward!

No matter what happens, if you make a mistake or see failure, do not be hard on yourself! We all experience this at many points in our lives and when it happens again it does not make it any easier trust me, I completely understand that. But it is always good to remind yourself how amazing you are and that forward is the only direction you need to be going in, you deserve it and owe it to yourself. We all get knocked down at times but we keep getting up and going until we get where we want and need to be.
I hope this post helps you with working on believing in yourself, surrounding yourself around people who believe in you in great but you will never be able to be completely happy until you can believe in yourself 100 percent.
