I hope you are all having a good week so far and have been keeping cool in this hot weather! I have not shared many photos or things about myself on my blog so I thought I would show you me with one of my dogs, Nelly who is the most loving and crazy dog on the planet! I feel the more I post all what I am, it would be good for you all to know me a bit more.
For those who know me personally and who follow my personal social media accounts will know for so many years I am a very big quote person! From my young teenage years no matter how I would be feeling, whether I was happy, sad, angry, motivated etc. I would just on online and find quotes that I would love, keep them for myself and then share with friends and family or post them all over my social media as well for one, it was something I was passionate about. And two, I would hope that by me sharing it someone who really needed to see it would and it would help them like it helped me. This is a big reason as to why I do "Quote of the day" on my blog and if you have not seen it. Check it out on the menu bar at the top.
Anyway, for my post today, I thought it would be a good idea to go through my 5 top quotes that have helped me through (in no particular order!), I hope you get as much benefit and love them as much as I do. Let's get started.
Quote #1 - "The lessons we learn from pain will always make us the strongest."

This quote is one of my favorites as it is one that I kept coming back to during 2019, by far the hardest year of my life. It felt like things would never get better. I learned so many lessons last year and honestly I have come a long way since then and as much as things can still get tough now, I know I am stronger than I realised! Always keep this in mind for yourself too! You are strong and you will get through anything that life throws at you. I always say "Every lesson learned is a blessing earned".
Quote #2 - "Forgive others, not because they deserve forgiveness, but because you deserve peace."

Another amazing quote that I come across a couple of years ago. It could not be anymore true in my opinion. Holding onto grudges and anger only stops you from living your own life to be full happiness. Forgive to give yourself the happiness and the peace you deserve. Sometimes this can take time to do, but once you can let go, you will see how much better you will feel with a massive weight off your shoulders. Trust me I have done this a lot over the past two years.
Quote #3 - "Success to me is being a good person, treating people well."

I know everyone sees success in many different ways. Success is the one thing that helps keeps us going as we are working towards some great we want to achieve. But sometimes I feel it can be way too easy to put yourself under pressure when it comes to this. Succeeding in life does not always mean getting the grades you wanted in your exams, a promotion or bonus you wanted at work or being able to be rich and afford whatever you want. I can see of course this stuff is also great but success can also be exactly what it says above. Being a good person and treating people well is vital and there is no pressure in this, it costs nothing. Make this your number one success point and then the rest will follow when you work hard and put your mind to it. I wish you all success in anything and everything you do!
Quote #4 - " Be strong because things will get better. It may be stormy now, but it never rains forever."

This quote has been saved on my phone for many years now! Being strong can be so difficult, like I have mentioned a few times before. But this quote I love because the connection in the quote is just perfect in my eyes. Storms do not last forever, just like when life is not fair on you. No matter how bad your life can be and can feel like there is no end to it, there will be a time when it does pass. It will not last forever. I can promise you there is a light at the end of that dark tunnel. Be strong! I believe in you.
Quote #5 - "Never regret a day in your life: good days give happiness, bad days give experience, worst days give experience, worst days give lessons, and best days give memories ."

So my final quote is this. Regrets in life can make you so hard on yourself, but why beat yourself up? I have had many days that I feel I really do regret especially from some bad decisions I have made in the past, especially last year. But what I will say is I will never forget this quote and I hope you all don't either. Make sure you save it as this is so important for everyone. Every part of this quote makes me feel that in life no matter the situation there is a reason to be thankful, good days and the best days give happiness and memories which is beautiful for all. Bad days and the worst days give experience and lessons in life, for you to be a better and stronger you.
I really hope you enjoy these quotes, I will definitely revisit this kind of post in the future for you all! To be honest I have been having a really difficult time recently for a number of reasons so writing this post and going through these quotes together really has put a smile on my face while writing this. Knowing that at least one person could read this post and feel better makes me happy too.
I would lastly like to say, anyone who looks out for you during your darkest hour. Keep them in your life forever. They are the people that will help see you through to the end where the grass is greener and the sky is bluer, the sun is brighter and life is just simply more beautiful. The people who I have, I couldn't ask for more amazing people, they know who they are. Much love everyone, speak to you all soon!
